Captive is an American documentary web series that was released on Netflix 2016. The series consisted of eight episodes, and explored hostage situations and negotiations around the world. Videoplugger worked on one of the episodes that was devoted to the American missionary Martin Burnham a highly publicized Mindanao hostage crisis of 2001 and 2002 in the Philippines. Captive explores the harrowing tale of the Burnhams and their capture by the Abu Sayyaf Group.
Videoplugger used its great expertise to secured the rights of this very difficult and sensitive subject.
