Season 1

In Love Under the Rain environmental activist Nazym played by Zhuldyz Omirgali (Inside Out 2) is caught in a whirlwind as she fights to preserve Arshaly Sai from being transformed into a luxury hotel complex, by the AJ Group”KHAN VILLAGE.” Her opponent, Ansar (Ayan Otepbergen) who is the wealthy son of AJ Group’s owner, is determined to push the project forward, seeing it as a lucrative business opportunity. Their initial encounters are marked by tension and mutual disdain, as they clash over conflicting values—Nazym’s dedication to environmental conservation and Ansar’s ambition for profit.

As the episode unfolds, Nazym finds herself struggling to be heard in a world where economic interests often overshadow ecological concerns. Ansar, on the other hand, faces pressure from investors and family expectations, particularly from his father, who is eager to see the project succeed. However, Ansar’s resolve begins to waver as he is confronted with the environmental and social impacts of his plans, partly fueled by his growing, albeit reluctant, respect for Nazym’s commitment.

Their paths cross in unexpected wyys, not just in boardrooms but also in more personal settings, revealing layers to their personalities and pasts. Their first encounter starts off when Nazym is leading a public protest against the development of the nature reserve where Nazim’s passionate speech galvanizes the local community, setting the stage for an intense struggle that is both personal and political.

Season 2

In the second season the story follows Ansar and Nazym as they overcome various challenges.

It starts off on their best friends Jasyn and Dana’s wedding day. News gets out that the AJ Group is going under. Ansar falls into a depression after receiving the bad news about his fathers company. Unexpected changes lead to Ansar’s losing his money, honour and loyal team.

Nazym wants to get through her idea of recycling rubbish and meets Kayrolla. The process of this eco-project engenders hope in Nazym and Ansar.

In the first season Nazym quit her job with Ansar because of her environmental standards. In the second season, Nazym decides to start a waste recycling company. Ansar and Nazym’s love story continues.
