MHz NETWORKS ACQUIRES KAZAKH “A DARK, DARK MAN”

French production company Arizona Films and UK-based sales house Videoplugger are honoured to release the news that crime series “A Dark, Dark Man” has been picked up in a deal with MHz Networks.

A Kazakh interpretation of film noir, “A Dark, Dark Man” is a three-part crime series (released as a feature in 2019) set in the boundless Kazakh steppes. Young but disenchanted policeman Bekzat, charged with covering up a new case of fatal assaults on little boys, is caught off guard by the intervention of Ariana, a defiant and determined journalist coming from the city to investigate the case. Directed by Adilkhan Yerzhanov. Starring Daniar Alshinov, Dinara Baktybaeva and Teoman Khos.
