WNET’s ALL ARTS picks up “The Landscape Within”

Andrea Capranico and British distributor Videoplugger are delighted to announce that the documentary film “The Landscape Within” has been picked up in a deal with New York City’s flagship public television station WNET to be released on their multiplatform ALL ARTS.

“The Landscape Within” 79′, 2019

A lyrical documentary “A journey of healing through art family and culture”. The Filipino conceptual artist, body-painter and photographer Eric “Nui” Cabales struggled to find new directions after the death of his beloved father. On this journey through grief, Eric finds purpose in the things he loves most. The island Kayama, where the river and the sea meet, the landscape of his family’s memories and the inner source of his inspiration. Eric embarks on a lyrical journey, a search for belonging and a story of healing through art.

ALL ARTS is breaking new ground as the premier destination for inspiration, creativity and art of all forms. This New York Emmy-winning arts and culture hub is created by WNET, the parent company of New York’s PBS stations.

Andrea Capranico, Director The Landscape Within said:

“I’m very happy “The Landscape Within” found a natural home on the ALL ARTS channel. This will finally allow larger audiences to watch the film and to witness the beautiful body-painting art of Eric Nui Cabales and Viajerro in the Philippines.”

Emanuele Gallloni, MD Videoplugger said:

“Videoplugger is getting more and more into arthouse content, such as the beautiful “The Landscape Within”, with its poetic imagery, with its powerful music and a multimedia language that touches the heart and the mind. We will search for more content like this to represent and bring to top broadcasters and platforms internationally.”
