RED ZONES SHORTLISTED FOR CONTENT INNOVATION AWARDS 2020

We are incredibly happy to announce that RED ZONES has been shortlisted by Content Innovation Awards within the category of “Best Documentary Series”. Check out the shortlist here.

At Videoplugger we are proud to receive this honour together with Ondemotive Productions. Red Zones is a 4 part documentary series produced in Italy and UK during the lockdown and from within the Red Zones, first broadcast on SKY TG24 Italy.

Director Luca Vullo is thrilled for the series to receive this recognition and he is looking forward to eventually celebrate this at the physical award ceremony if it will take place as normal on the 3rd of December, according to their website the details of the awards ceremony are currently TBC as they continue to look into the safest option for a physical event during this time.

Many many thanks to Television Business International and Informa Tech for this opportunity.

About the category:
The future is factual, that much is clear. Streaming services and cable channels have upped the ante when it comes to multi-part factual series. TBI honours the programmes – across both broadcast or digital – that have raised the bar in their execution, storytelling and/or access.
